Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I love love LOVE Christmas!!!!

It is my favourite time of year. Although I am one of those who leaves shopping to the last minute, I love all the hustle and bustle that comes with it. The Christmas parties, the mulled wine, running around looking for presents, blasting Christmas music anywhere without being judged, the amount of food you end up eating from now until then (and after) and finally..one of the only times it is ok to wear the craziest Christmas jumpers in town! I just can't get enough.

I wanted to take these outside but with a hectic schedule, getting the perfect light was proving to be tricky and I really wanted this to go out before Christmas. So they had to be done indoors.

Christmas jumpers have now become a really popular thing. It was the type of thing that you would have been embarrassed to open and made to wear for Christmas dinner. Well not any more. With everyone (and I mean everyone) coming out with their own designs, embarrassing Christmas jumpers have become a thing of the past and we are now welcomes with stylish, funny and sometimes naughty jumpers.

Here are some of my favourite Christmas jumpers around. Click on the links to send you the jumpers shown. Happy Xmas shopping!!!!

Short hair don't care!

So I have joined fellow bloggers and celebrities and have gone for the chop (gasp).

I have wanted to do it for a while but having had long hair for a while now, it wasn't as easy to let go as I thought it was going to be. I have been growing my hair for the last 2 years. Since having dip dye put in to it, I have cut it less and less. I have always thought short hair made my face look fat and plump and I have to say that it is so much more high maintenance than having long hair. At least with long hair you can just tie it up and that's it.

Before I go for a drastic change in look, I always do some research. Pinterest is the best place for this and I can spend hours on there. Also Instagram is a great place to see how others are carrying their looks.Kim Kardashian looked great when she chopped her famous locks off. Model Rosie Huntington - Whitely looks great with long hair but her short hair really suites her. One of my favourite bloggers Lovely Pepa uses a lovely wave to create her ultimate style.

I don't know about you but cutting my hair is a big deal for me and it is not something I take lightly. It often involves driving everyone around me crazy with questions and showing them pictures of people with short hair. Then I take it one step further and look through my wardrobe and see what style will suit. Yes readers...some outfits just do not look good with short hair (ha). Although lately I've teamed it with my denim shirt from Primark and also my knee high boots from Zara.

Now that it is short, I am still growing to the idea. I am very particular about my hair and so I have decided to keep it curly for a while. My hair is naturally waving, so hopefully adding a few more curls in will help it to keep its natural wave as the straighteners overuse has meant that my curls do not stay as well as they use to. As it is almost a new year, why not start the new year with a new change. In my case, it was a new hair do. I want to thank the people at headmasters for their patience.

Playing dress up.

I love playing dress up. Especially when it's an item that you don't always get to wear every day. I was lucky to be invited to an event at Zaeem Jamal's shop in Chelsea. The dresses in this shop are to amazing!

Zaeem Jamal is a great designer whose dresses are a real piece of art. Each dress has its own story. I love how they have a hint of Mediterranean and eastern fashion to them. Think Sex in the City in Abu Dhabi.

Now being the 'lil' shorty that I am, some of the dresses were a little too long for me, but it didn't stop me from trying a few on. One of my favourites was a purple number. It reminded me a lot of Alexander McQueen and his style. I loved the red outfit that was displayed on the window (the one on the right). It was an amazing jumpsuit.

Zaeem Jamal also has a lovely collection of wedding dresses that also fit his criteria. Trust me, I was tempted but thought better of it for now. There is always next time. I would definitely recommend coming here if you have a special event coming up.
